Pastoral Care Bethel Lutheran Nursing & Rehabilitation Center, located in Williston, North Dakota, exists for the primary purpose of providing Christian care in its truest meaning - ministering to the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of each person, not merely as a professional service, but as a work of love and mercy. Thus, we minister to people in the name of Christ by "Recognizing Each Individual As A Child Of God".Just as Bethel employs qualified staff to meet the physical and emotional needs of our elders, Bethel also employs a full-time Chaplain to help meet their spiritual needs. Pastor Sheldon Sorenson, an ordained pastor of the SBC, provides pastoral care and visitation for elders, families and staff. As a part of his ministry, he also provides emergency pastoral care and hospice ministry.Sunday morning worship services are held in the Chapel at 9:30 a.m. each Sunday morning. Communion is held the first Sunday of each month. Weekly devotions are held Tuesday and Thursday afternoon at 4:00 p.m. and for those elders who are unable to come to the Chapel, weekly devotions are held on each neighborhood with the exception of Nelson Manor. All elders and their families are welcome to attend. In addition, Catholic Mass is held each Thursday morning at 10:00 a.m. by a local priest, and residents are assisted by volunteers from St. Joseph's Catholic Church. An inspirational message and gospel music is also offered on Wednesday mornings at 10:00 a.m.Bethel Lutheran Nursing & Rehabilitation Center realizes the importance to our elders of staying connected to the people and places that have given them support and purpose. For this reason, we encourage the continued connectiveness of our elder's home church congregation and clergy through visitation, monthly newsletters, prayers and monthly communion services.Bethel Lutheran Nursing & Rehabilitation Center - Built on Christian ValuesRehabilitative CareRehabilitative Care programs are carried out through the joint efforts of the resident and our professional care staff. These are carried out by nursing personnel with recommendations by rehabilitation staff as needed.Adult Day/Respite CareAdult Daycare is designed to serve persons who return to their own home each night.
