Laundry Aide - FT

BLNRC currently has a full-time laundry aide position open. Our facility is open 7 days a week and the laundry department hours range from 6:00am-3:00pm. Previous experience preferred, but training will be provided. All employees are required to complete orientation program upon employment.

Duties include but are not limited to, the ability to perform both assigned and recurring general laundry duties such as ironing, sorting, folding, dusting/cleaning machines weekly or as needed. Laundry aide may mark resident clothing, distribute towels/resident clothing to neighborhoods, load and unload the washers and dryers as well as other duties assigned by supervisor. Aide will be required to attend employee meetings/in-services and complete yearly all staff trainings. 

Applicant must be able to stand or walk 7-8 hours a day, bend, kneel or climb occasionally and be able to lift 1-5 lbs. on a frequent basis and occasionally 20-30 lbs. A complete job description is available upon request.
