Minimum Data Set (MDS) Nurse - FT

Sign on Bonus available, paid over a 36-month period. Monday - Friday, 8:00a.m. - 4:30p.m. Competitive wages and benefit package included! Active unencumbered North Dakota RN license required or the ability to transfer license. Experience with MDS completion preferred. Resident Assessment Coordinator (RAC) training must be completed within 6 months of employment – RAC Certification is preferred.  

MDS Coordinator position conducts and coordinates the completion of required MDS assessments for implementation and ongoing evaluation of each resident’s comprehensive plan of care. Accurate coding of clinical data for billing, collaborating with interdisciplinary team to build and update comprehensive resident care plans, and ensuring facility regulatory compliance and tracking quality measures (QM) is key to the success of this position. Scheduling and leading interdisciplinary care plan meetings, participation in other team meetings and state health surveys/audits are required. MDS Coordinator must regularly communicate with the Business Office for monthly resident reimbursement/billing.

The ideal applicant will have a love for elders, be a team player, and have the ability to multitask. Experience preferred but willing to train the right applicant. Experience with Point Click Care medical charting is preferred but is not required. Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English and have excellent communication skills. Ability to work with all members of the interdisciplinary team is a necessity.
