BLNRC is seeking a Part Time Quality Assurance/Quality Improvement Nurse.

The Quality Assurance (QA) nurse position is responsible for monitoring, evaluating and improving the quality of resident care and clinical outcomes within the facility. Job requires varying shift times to conduct monitoring during each shift. This role ensures compliance with state and federal regulations, supports performance improvement initiatives, and promotes best practices to enhance resident safety, satisfaction, and overall care standards. Participation in team meetings and state health surveys/audits are required.
Essential duties include but are not limited to leading and participating in Quality Assurance and Performance Improvement (QAPI) activities, collecting and analyzing clinical data trends to identify opportunities for improvement, monitoring quality indicators and conducting internal audits and mock surveys. This position works closely with the Director of Nursing, ADON/Infection Preventionist, Administrator and interdisciplinary team.
The ideal applicant will have a love for elders, be a team player, possess excellent written and verbal communication skills and have the ability to multitask. Experience preferred but willing to train the right applicant. Experience with Point Click Care medical charting is preferred but is not required. Must be currently licensed in the state of North Dakota as RN or LPN with a license in good standing. Minimum of 2 years of clinical nursing experience (LTC experience preferred) with experience in quality improvement and regulatory compliance. Strong organizational, analytical and leadership skills. Must maintain confidentiality and professionalism.
